Dr. Siniša Grgić has established himself as a successful and prolific author, researcher, entrepreneur, and diplomat.
He currently serves as the Croatian Ambassador to Sweden, and Latvia. He is an engineer, with a Ph.D. from the University in Zagreb in the field of Social Network Analysis (SNA), and a graduate of Harvard Business School. He has created multiple highly successful startups in Croatia, Slovenia and Germany. He founded and managed as a CEO for more than a decade, Croatia’s first credit reporting agency, which he subsequently sold to a Swedish multinational Bisnode AB (part of the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation now). Dr. Grgić has applied his knowledge and practical skills as the founder of the Croatian Exporters, Competitiveness Council, European Movement, and Junior Chamber International in Croatia. As author and editor, his work includes many well-regarded books including: World of Skills, European Funds for Croatia, Encyclopedia of Croatian Family Names. His work across multiple disciplines and advanced big-data skills give him a unique bird’s-eye global perspective especially related to international development and trends. He is a proud Croatian and a renaissance European, married and the loving father of three.
