Dr. Siniša Grgić currently serves as the Croatian Ambassador to both Sweden and Latvia. An engineer by training, he holds a Ph.D. in Social Network Analysis (SNA) from the University of Zagreb and is a graduate of Harvard Business School. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish several successful startups across Croatia, Slovenia, and Germany. Notably, he founded and managed Croatia’s first credit reporting agency for over a decade, which he later sold to the Swedish multinational, Bisnode AB, now a part of the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation.

Dr. Grgić has also channeled his expertise to create and lead organizations such as the Croatian Exporters, Competitiveness Council, European Movement, and Junior Chamber International in Croatia. As an author and editor, he has contributed to numerous esteemed publications, including “Croatia & Sweden,” which is part of the expansive Bilateral Book Series he recently initiated. Other notable works include “World of Skills,” “European Funds for Croatia,” and the “Encyclopedia of Croatian Family Names.” With a profound understanding across various disciplines and advanced big-data capabilities, he offers a unique global perspective, especially in the domain of international development and trends.

A passionate Croatian and a renaissance European at heart, Dr. Grgić is happily married and a devoted father to three children.
